2017 RODEO SCHEDULE

Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at 6 pm

Sunday, July 2nd, 2017 at 6 pm  (Family Night, parents and their minor children get in for $30.00, “No alcohol seating” available. )

Monday, July 3rd, 2017 at 6 pm – PINK OUT THE STANDS!!!! (It’s Cancer Awareness Night, for every person that walks into the rodeo wearing pink, the Grangeville Border Day’s Committee will donate $1 dollar to a local cancer fund.)

Admission prices: $12, age 12 and over, $5 under age 12, under 6 free.

$13,800 added money plus entry fees.

Entries open: June 20, to enter online go to Enterup.biz or call 208- 845-2051 from 10 to 5 Mountain Time Zone.

Lee Woods Memorial local team roping, local barrels – call Brad Arnzen at 983-5784 after June 15.

Sanctioned by Idaho Cowboys Association, Pro-West, and NPRA. Rodeo stock by Gold Buckle Rodeo, Roosevelt,  Wa.

Rodeo Slack 10:00 am July 1st, Free Admission.

LIVE MUSIC: July 1, 2, 2017 – Immediately following the rodeo Coltrain of Lewiston will perform. July 3, 2017 – Immediately following the rodeo Vintage Youth of Grangeville will perform. Check out both bands Facebook page to learn more about them!! FREE ADMISSION!!

CHICKEN SCRAMBLE: ALL THREE DAYS: Three chickens will be released in the arena, each chicken will have a ribbon that will stand for a different money amount, the kid who catches that chicken wins the money amount shown. This is to take the place of the calf scramble. Ages 6 to 12!!

WILD HORSE RACE: ALL THREE DAYS: Fastest time over all three rodeos wins buckles and added money sponsored by Ray Holes Saddle Company

COWBOY BREAKFAST: Masonic Temple Lodge at Main and Hall Streets, July 2nd, 3rd, 4th from 6 am to 11 am. Lodges #9 and #87

WILD STICK HORSE RACE: ALL THREE DAYS: Children ages 6 – 8 years old will ride a stick horse and have a race during the rodeo. Limit to 15 kids over all three days only. The fastest time over all three days will win a buckle sponsored by Farris Transport of Grangeville. The same 15 children will compete all three days at the rodeo. $5 per entry fee. STREET SPORTS: Scheduled July 2, 3, 4 2017  Main Street, 9 am, featuring the SUPER EGG TOSS

TOY SCRAMBLE: July 3rd following Street Sports for 6 and under sponsored by Grangeville Health and Rehab on Main Street

GENEALOGY OPEN HOUSE: Idaho County Genealogy Society will have an open house on July 3rd, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. They are located at 111 S. Idaho Street across from the court house.

ART IN THE PARK:  July 3rd from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and on July 4th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the City Park.  Contact Angie Norman to sign up at Grangeville Centennial Library 208-983-0951

SYRINGA HOSPITAL FOUNDATION BORDER DAYS FUN RUN: July 4th –  Sign up at Main St. and W. North St. in the Umpqua Bank parking lot @ 6:30 am.  Race @ 7:45 am @ Main and State St. Call Jo Anne at 208-507-0720 or visit http://syringahospital.org.  Proceeds will benefit community projects including the holiday senior luncheon.

BICENTENNIAL MUSEUM: Open July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from 1 pm to 5 pm.

OLD TIME FIDDLERS: July 4th – 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the pavilion at Pioneer Park. 

WALKING TACOS: July 4th – 10:00 am in the City Park sponsored by the Trinity Lutheran Church

OLD FASHIONED STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: July 3rd in the City Park, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, by the United Methodist Church

CAMAS PRAIRIE CRUISERS: Free car show next to city park on Sunday, July 2nd from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. ALL cars welcome – Call Annell – 208-983-2333 for more info!

BORDER DAYS RAFFLE: 
$1000 cash for First
$300 cash for Second, sponsored by Quality Heating, Grangeville
$150 cash for Third, sponsored by LeAnnes Flower and Garden Center
